asymmetrical fun

I have been liking asymmetrical pieces lately, it's just so fun when desinging and choosing which beads would go well contrasting the other side.

Here are a few I have made:

After Dark

I made this sometime last year, right after I laid my hands on these shiny silver beads.

Teal Tale

 This was made last month, signaling the beginning of my asymmetrical love ;)

When it comes to favourite styles, I can never leave out pink & purple, my all time favourite colours :)

Matte soft lilac + that birdhouse charm, major ♥♥

Right now I'm embarking on a new colour, light yellow sprinkled with juicy lime green.

Will be making this today, *excited* ! :))

a cause to rejoice

this is a long overdue post, I should have written this 2 weeks ago!

anyway, as the title of this post says, it's happy causes that deserve a blog post ;)

(yep, 2 causes!)

First up, I have finally reached my target of 100 items in store

(at the time of writing this, I have more than 100 already, see what I meant that this is an overdue post?  
Am a procrastinator at heart!)

Secondly, I had my first taste of being on the Etsy front page, even after 2 weeks I still feel a little giddy thinking of it ;)

Being there for just 1 hour, my views & hearts went over the roof, what a pleasant surprise!

I knew being on the FP brings you a lot of new visitors, but I didn't know it was this huge...

I had a couple of sales as a result of this and I'm so thankful to ArtByAmarose who featured me in her treasury & last but not least, the One up there who made a girl very very happy ;)

store rearrangement

I have been deliberating whether I should colour coordinate the items in my etsy store, after all we were given the 'Rearrange Store' tool just some months back, many sellers were delighted except me.

Not that I'm complaining (of course, the more tools the better!), I just didn't quite know what to do with it.

I have done a bit of rearrangement, basically just had fun moving things around and to different pages without any plan, kind of silly yeah?

What got me to make full use of this option this time was I suddenly realized why I'm a fan of a local boutique here- their clothes are all arranged according to colour!
(now, how come I didn't see this from the beginning?)
Without any hesitation, I would always dash towards the pink section, it's like second nature to me, a friend even asked why are all my tops pink when we barely knew each other! *embarrassed*

Any thoughts? Do you think it's better to have my pieces randomly 'scattered' around the store or it's much neater now with the colours all grouped together?

I would love to know how I can improve on this / any tips, anything!
